A test of my making abilities....

I made this sofa cover for my boyfriends mum over the summer last year. It was quite a daunting task, but I was able to unpick the old cover and use it as a pattern for the new one. This was the first time I have ever attempted something like this, and I was very happy with the result (and luckily so was she.)

1930's Evening Gown

This dress is the first part of my Extended Major Project (the second part is a Renaissance gown for the National Theatre.) It is based on the green dress that Keira Knightley wears in the film 'Atonement.'

Beauty and the Beast

This was the first making project of my final year- an 18th century ball gown for the uni production of 'Beauty and the Beast'.

Birthday Corsets

Another birthday corset. This one was made recently for my friend Sal's 21st.

Birthday Corsets

This corset I made for my friend Andrea's birthday last year.

Corsets...

Last corset from this project. This one was inspired by the colours of storm clouds.

Corsets

Same corset project, different period. This one is an 18th century corset (also known as 'stays')
